Clayton joins A+ Federal Credit Union to bring students an opportunity to open a savings account and make deposits from school. Through the Green Apple Savings Club, we hope to pass along the important principles of saving, money management, and investing money for a return.

"Deposit Days" are held twice monthly in the Clayton cafeteria before assembly. Dates are below. Participants are provided special deposit bags with "kid friendly" deposit slips, and are able to make deposits to their account at this time.

If you would like your child to open a savings account and have the opportunity to make deposits from school, please pick up an application for the Clayton Green Apple Savings Club in the school office.

2009-2010 DEPOSIT DAY INFORMATION

Deposit Days!
Green Apple Deposit Days are every other Monday. Deposits can be made in the morning between 7:10am and 7:35am in the Clayton cafeteria.  The dates for 2009-2010 are:

• Oct. TBD
• November 9th & 23rd
• December 7th
• January 11th & 25th
• February 8th & 22nd
• March 8th & 29th
• April 19th
• May 3rd
  

Things to remember:

• First deposit to A+ Federal Credit Union must be at least $10.
• Cash deposits are at least $1, with a maximum of $20. 
• Checks are accepted in any amount as long as they are payable to the student and properly endorsed. 
• Make sure deposit bag is labeled with correct name, teacher and grade. 
• Complete the deposit slip.
• Place the deposit slip and/or checks in the deposit bag for the student to take to school. 
• Make sure membership card is signed and in the deposit bag.
