WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF JOINING THE PTA?
The number one reason to join PTA is to benefit your child. In doing so, you'll also help your school. PTA provides opportunities to meet and talk with other parents as well as share concerns and goals. As a PTA member, you will be a more informed, more involved parent in your child's education. And, studies have shown membership in PTA provides your child a greater chance of achieving in school. Plus, you get awesome discounts from businesses such as Aflac, BarnesandNoble.com, Dell, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Fiesta Texas, FlowerCause.com, La Quinta, Nationwide Insurance, Schlitterbahn, SeaWorld, Sharp Electronics, Southwest Airlines Vacations, T-Mobile and more. Discounts may be accessed by members by using the login and password located on the back of your membership card. Login to access member benefits (select “Benefits/Discounts tab on the left side of the screen).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN?
The membership fee for the 2011-2012 year is $6.50 per year, per member/person. Mom and Dad would be $13. By becoming a Nan Clayton PTA member, you are also a member of the Texas PTA. For more Information about Texas PTA, click www.txpta.org.

HOW DO I JOIN?
You can join anytime. All you have to do is complete the Membership Form (PDF) and mail it with payment to Clayton PTA Membership, 7525 LaCrosse Avenue, Austin TX 78739.
